However, I got it to specifically swap the switches for Gateron Yellow KS9 Pros, and popped on some white doubleshot keycaps I had laying around. If you're even slightly interested in building a (semi)custom keyboard, you will not find a better value 100% layout with an aluminum plate and volume roller/knob, period.
If the type of switches you like are 3-pin, you cannot go wrong with this board.
FLOP or NOT? EVGA Z15 Review [youtube.com]
If it helps any, EVGA doesn't actually manufacture this keyboard. It's just a rebrand.
$35 for an RGB (real) mechanical keyboard is a good deal, period.

Or you can just clip off the two extra pins with cutters like I did lol. The two extra pins are just plastic and I haven't had any problems after clipping them
If it just stays in your desk and you can manage the cable then why not? The addition of a Bluetooth radio in this unit might cause it to cost $5 more, making it less slick for those who don't need that.

Z20: Size of key is smaller than normal keyboards. You can press Marco keys accidently a lot.

it's hard to find a name brand board for 35 dollars.
It's got some good features, but overall, I REALLY dislike the linear switches.
Pros
Decent build quality-aluminum top plate is pretty good for $35
Volume control and media controls
Decent rgb choices
Keycaps feel alright
Cons
The linear switches just don't feel accurate. I either actuate the key when I don't want to or don't actuate the key when I do. If I don't get used to them soon, I'm probably going to go back to my keyboard with optical switches.
I am not a keyboard snob, but I DO own several of them. Prior to this I bought mostly brown or blue equivalents (I have one that has hako clears which I really love and hate all at the same time) , so maybe I just need to get used to the linear style ones.
But I just dunno. I've never typed so inaccurately when I've gotten a new keyboard prior to this one.
