I don't. There are a lot of factors that go into load times, and storage speed is only one of them. Depending on the game, the bottleneck may be something other than storage.

For example, if the data requires a lot of decompression or decoding, and if the CPU can only decompress data at 400 MB/s, then your bottleneck is the CPU, not the storage speed.

In reality, there aren't that many situations where you will actually notice a difference between NVMe and SATA, due to just how few things are actually bottlenecked by storage I/O.

Seeing this drive image made my blood pressure go up. I purchased a Team Group internal 1TB 2.5 SATA SSD a week ago and had it working fine..... for 1 day. Never had any issues with internal or external drives in years but this one crapped out in the middle of a copy transfer. Never able to get it back online and can't use warranty since I have sensitive data on it that I can blast away before sending in. I'll never buy this brand. Just my 2 cents.

Spec wise yes, but real world load times are nowhere near 14x faster. See the link I posted, it's not this exact drive but gives you an idea for what I mean.

This is useful as an inexpensive second drive that still is still plenty fast enough for me for the games that I play.

Look up sata SSD vs nvme SSD side by side load times on YouTube, there's tons of videos out there and they'll all show sata SSDs performing not too far behind nvme drives with regards to load times. That's for both games and getting into windows during boot up too. For most users, the only spot they'll see huge differences is if they're doing drive to drive read/writes, such as copying huge files over from one ssd to another.

Been waiting for 2TB of SSD to reach $100 and decided this is close enough.

Picked this up as an internal backup drive, don't need remotely good performance, just don't want a mechanical drive. I've got about 500GB of photos of my kids (a constantly growing number). Everything is on an internal SSD on my desktop and backed up to google photos (we have a 2TB account). I'm going to put this in my desktop and mirror my photos onto it, I feel more comfortable with a cheap SSD than pretty much any HDD, and I only have 2.5" bays in my Node 202 case.
