Buy a small amp (Kinter K2020A+ Limited Edition Original Tripath TA2020-020 Class-T Hi-Fi Audio Mini Amplifier with 12V 5A Power Supply Black https://a.co/d/7MeWRXX) and hook up an echo dot. Run a few feet of speaker wire and you're set. I've had this set up outside on a covered patio for a few years and it's been working great.

These aren't powered speakers though so that won't help. You need some kind of amp to make the speakers work.

Had a pair from 2006-2020 in the blistering Phoenix sun. Sounded great. Only issue I ever had was the screens rusting after 10 years. I popped them of and repainted. Replace with Niles Audio in 2020 but I could hardly tell the difference.

I've had the bigger brother version of these (NS-AW350B) for many years and they are amazing. I recommend to everyone. These are the smaller low end driver version, so overall won't sound as rich/full as the bigger brother version, but for this price, can't complain as the AW350 are currently 3x the price.

If you want good sound quality, get a set of baluns made by niles. You can get optical audio or rca baluns depending on your primary amp's output. Put a second amp as close as you can get to the outdoor speakers. Run one ethernet cable between the two baluns. Run speaker wires from amp #2 to the outdoor speakers.

Bonus if your amp has a zone 2 output, now you can control outdoor music independently of indoor music from one spot.

I have a setup like this pushing 8 outdoor speakers,
all controlled from my phone using yamaha musiccast for the hub. Amp#1 is yamaha. Amp#2 is an old high power stereo amp, stable to two ohms, that I picked up for under $100.
