I can confirm that there is a flimsy joint. I have gone through 4 of this build g headsets and all failed in the same place. Warranty and sound are good. Logitech replaced my first set with a problem. Second set broke in the same place. Foolishly purchased another model with the same build and had yet another failure in the same location. Warranty replaced without issue. Changed to a different brand after #4 failed. Just my experience.

Amazon reviews show a flimsy joint. I would imagine you would have to handle with care to enjoy the product.

Should note this is about the standard price for this headset, so I wouldn't consider it a deal. It's a good headset for the price, but you get what you pay for in terms of build quality. Mine broke in under a year.

I have these headphones and have for the past few years. They are great headphones and I've dropped them countless times. No issues with the hinge breaking.... I wear them 8+ hours a day at work.

Only issue I have with them is the mic is kind of cheap. It's not nearly as clear as other headphones I've used... but you have to curve your expectations in this price range.

I had an older model that was great on Xbox until part cracked above the earpiece. Was under warranty and Logitech replaced with no issue. They sent a newer model with vinyl versus original mesh earphone cover. With the vinyl my ears would sweat after 20 mins of use. Sound and mic were decent. Just my $0.02

I wish they had JUST a USB version. no 3.5mm connector to USB. the 3.5mm connectors give my mic a staticy/hum sound. USB doesn't.

Heh, I can't believe they still make these.

I'll say something good about Logitech first: Their customer service is great! I've gotten this headset replace 4 times for free.

The bad: I've had to get this headset replace, 4 times. The new one actually broke also, but I went ahead and bought something more reliable. Kind of tired of doing this dance year after year.

Before anyone asks, no I don't abuse my headsets in the least. I'd wager I treat them better than most people. I sit at my desk, use it, and when not in use, set it on a stand.

Used to be a huge Logitech fan and own the wireless version of this from years ago. I loved them and No quality issues for me. That said I've moved away from Logitech as in recent years their warranty service and product support has gotten worse.

Mainly I don't like how they abandon older devices after a few years via their software. It seems a form of of forced obsolescence.

Any of you guys that own this - before or after this deal - do you have issues with high-volume audio leaking through the mic input - even with the mic swivelled up?! Mine seems to be doing this on my Windows PC, trying to isolate the issue down to see if it's hardware issue or software or something, because I've never seen this before on my other headsets.

I own this. I've had all issues describe or remotely described in this thread. Volume knob causes audio to switch between the right and left, rubber padding started flaking within the first 10 months, swivel joint breaking, uncomfortable and subpar audio quality. It sounds and performs no different than a cheap pair of headphones. Do not buy this headset - you will be disappointed.
