Nice price. I have this drive, it's a speed demon but not sure it can compete against the newer Kingston KC3000, currently on sale for $183.99, which has higher read and write speeds. Both being the same price I'd likely go for the KC3000 but not sure if the addition of the rescue service puts this one on top. Perhaps someone can speak to whether it's worth it or not if they have the service plan through Newegg.

If I already have a 2TB SSD, should I get a 1TB or 2TB M2 Gen 4?

Where do you see this for $180?

Nevermind, searching is hard apparently.

Correct— You'll also need a heatsink. Not expensive but a must if you're putting it in the PS5.

Are you comparing SATA vs M2? What's your use case? Is it going to be a boot drive or just file storage? You'll want to answer those questions first. If it's just for random desktop PC storage there's no major benefit to replacing a SATA SSD with an M2.

I will need more than 2 TB drive. So I'm debating if I should add a 1TB or 2TB M.2.
I'm thinking total of 4TB might be overkill since I already have a NAS. I have not upgrade my PC for almost 10 yrs, just wondering if 3TB in total would be good enough for daily/light gaming for the next 5 yrs or so

Link to a good heatsink that's compatible with the PS5 and well priced.
