What games would my kids enjoy playing in these? I know they can be added to Switch games, right?
For these figure. The game you can get most out of it is on Super Smash Bros. Because you can "battle/train" the figure. In other games that are not related to the name on the box, they give you minimal bonus items. If the figure is related to the game, you get more out of it.
Example: There are many Mario figures available but to a game they scan as a regular Mario so it doesn't matter which style you get.
In Mario Kart 8 an amiibo figure would give you a suit for the Mii character to dress up as for the game but only certain Nintendo characters do that.
You can find some info on the Amiibo website telling you what they can do in their respective games.
