when doing trade-in for older fire tv device, how long does it take for the extra 20% promo supposed to be credited? It was not instant for me at check-out nor when I have done this is past so just seeing what others experience is here.

Not necessarily the best deal but still fine. You don't need a 4k stick if you don't have a 4k screen but they tend to have more power to handle the 4k, so you will still benefit from it.

I have 4 tvs where we have added Amazon Fire Sticks. 2 of the 4 are barely a year old and stopped working. I switching them out with Roku's and will never buy Fire Sticks again. Terrible product that doesn't last. Amazon support is difficult to work with to get them replaced too.
