The biggest issue is motion tracking. It will stare at any motion (shadow of a tree) and ignore everything else.
You can easily fool this camera by shining a flashlight on the wall at night, it will stare at the light, and allow you to pass through undetected
It's a good camera at a decent price. While some use it outdoors, it's not an outdoor camera. I have a couple of them and it's good for my usage.

I had this connected to Synology Surveillance Station and the feed is very compressed, clearly a step down in quality from the Eufy app. I believe you could connect it to Blue Iris the same way but you would not be satisfied with the feed quality
Is it set up well to use a iPhone remotely without frustration of use on mobile data.
If you're trying to access the camera remotely, you will need data. The data source data be wifi or your mobile. If your data source is mobile, it will impact your mobile data specially if you're viewing it for an extended period of time.
That's what I use it for. Usually snooze notifications during the day (keep it on at night), otherwise you get bombarded every minute. But you can watch the feed anytime you want .

Whats the difference to this one?

I believe no pan & tilt.
"I'm using a product incorrectly and it doesn't work" is not a negative
IME detection of motion outdoors is fairly reliable. There is an option to limit motion detection to specific zones within the image. I do not use motion tracking, however.

A couple notes here:
1. This camera can be used with homekit, and if you have an icloud plan, you can get free cloud recordings of motion events when set up with homekit, though limited to 1080p, vs the 2k this is capable of. Also with homekit set up, the pan/tilt options are not available through the iOS home app.
2. Whether you set this camera up with homekit or not, you can access this camera remotely and it works pretty well and is relatively easy to set up.
If you don't need the pan and tilt options, the fixed version of this is $5-6 cheaper on the eufy website

Because it is marketed and sold as a "security" camera, I'm inclined to agree that it should be more capable regardless of price. But if they want to market and sell it as a pet cam, nanny cam, etc, I would agree that the points this person brings up are invalid for those use cases.
Reverse side, it is a decent camera and does ok with tracking when used indoors. But I still wouldn't want to call it a "security" camera at that point.
