Was $265 back in Sept 2020 when I got it. Which taking inflation into account, is the same price as today without the total tech. Worth getting now to avoid the long waits for install during the winter.

I believe it is lifetime warranty as long as you have the papers. You can take it to them to get it checked.

This system works really well and from quite the distance. I can remote start my car from the block over. One thing to note, if I dont start my car at least once every 2 wks it does kill the battery. YMMV on different vehicles. The vehicle I have this on is strictly used to drive long distances sometimes I forget after not using it for a bit and the battery is dead.

That's odd and I'd almost recommend taking it back to Best Buy about that. I have the same unit on a Subaru Forester and haven't had that issue. What car do you have it on if you don't mind me asking? Looking to buy another to put on a Nissan Frontier.

Battery is dead in that it needs to be jumpstarted? Works after jumpstarting? Or need to replace the whole battery?

Got this last winter on sale for around this price, works really good. Car didn't even come with a factoryremote fob and couldn't add a factory one after talking to 6 dealers (silverado WT). even though it has powerlocks. No problem with installation, unlock/lock and remote start work fine =, 2 way is way more useful than I originally thought it would be

I see one of the advantages of this is I can use my regular blade key fob to remote start (hitting the lock button 3 times). Does Best buy charge extra for this feature to be activated on my fob or is it automatic? I would hate to have to carry around an extra remote.

Had it installed back in 2019. It has been serving me well in both hot and cold weather. I chose a location where the mechanic was very good. Installed android auto carplay and this from the same store. In my opinion, these two were the best after-market upgrades I made for a total of less than $500.

i really dont see a issue. the employees probably canceled my orders, kept for themselves and then sold it like i would of in all likelihood.
