Know why the BB listing is a different model? WD140EFFX vs WD140EFGX
Can't find whether the BB listing has CMR or not.
EDIT: Has CMR. Don't see a clear difference on this WD chart

The only difference was this footnote: Actual spindle motor rotational speed for this model is 7200 RPM; although ID Device may report 5400 to reflect previous Performance Class designation.
It has 1,000,000 hours MTBF, a 3 year warranty and only rated for 180TB/year.
The Seagate ST14000NM001G 14TB drive has a 2,500,000 hours MTBF, a 5 year warranty and rated for 550TB/year. It has been on sale for $200 recently but is currently ~$230 at most etailers. I would pay an extra $20 to have a much better drive.

But it's certainly not a bad idea to double check the actual model.

With labels I think they historically had one NAS/red model that was SMR, got tons of flak for it, and never moved into that confusing area again

Datasheets aside, backblaze tends to record a noticeably higher failure rate with Seagate than with WD.
