this is a terrible drive if you're trying to move 100's of gb at a time, it trickles snail speeds after 60 GB, I confirmed this with Crucial support, said it was normal operation as it only has a 60 GB cache, I would go with the Sandisk extremes, they don't slow down. I have 2 X6, 2 Samsung T7s. 1 T7 Shield. 2 T5s, 6 Sandisk Extremes, 1 Sandisk Extreme Pro. and about 20 Lacie's lol.
The only ones that sustain fast write speeds are the Sandisk Extremes and the T7 Shield (Transferred 1 TB in 25 minutes, no competition)

Will these work better than my external wd 5400rpm for my ps5v. Playing warzone seems to take forever loading textures… but if I have the game installed on the built in memory it is fast.

Yes. I highly recommend the T7's and T7 Shields. A little more cash but so much better devices.

oh for sure it will smoke that dinky 5400 rpm drive. Any SSD will honestly. Its like driving a Formula 1 car compared to driving a dump truck lol
