SlickdealsForumsHot DealsCostco Members: Kevlar by DuPont Gen 3 60-ft Heavy Duty Fabric Water Hose with Swivel Coupling, Clearance w/Free Shipping $29.97
I have 2 of these hoses and the reviews are correct, on both of them the end handle came off almost right away. I used some e6000 on one, but that only lasted about a month and it came off again. For now, I have used some black duct tape to keep the pieces in place. Other than that issue, the hoses have held up well.
These hoses are perfect for watering your yard on the weekend... in Chicago.
It's a completely different hose. The Flexzilla has a Max. working pressure at 70°F: 150 psi, whereas OP is 600psi. It's also 10' shorter than the Kevlar one. The Kevlar one is fabric, the Flexzilla is a polymer. The Kevlar weighs 2 pounds less (5.5lbs vs 7.5lbs).

read post #34 , Lowes has the same hose under different brand.
Heh. After posting that, I did some digging around. Lowes still sells them, but they're low in quantity. Some people are saying not to rely on the site and to call around as they're finding them in stores.
Have you tried the Zero-G hoses? Bought mine five years ago and it is still in excellent condition, even after being dragged across our concrete driveway every day during the summer. It has a five year warranty, so it should be good for at least that long. I am posting a link to Amazon, but they are sold at Lowe's, Ace, etc., so you could probably find one locally. https://www.amazon.com/4001-50-Li...B014M9PEXC
You are absolutely correct. I've had this hose 5-6 years, still works great. Even ran it to a pressure washer a few times.

LeCordonBleu
Almost all hoses are riddled with bad reviews. This one is not an exception. WIll give this a shot and return if it fails.

Who cares, you got 6 years to return it to Costco, basically you're getting a NEW hose forever whenever this fails before the 6 year warranty!

How do these compare to the Craftsman lifetime rubber hoses that are no longer available? Those were the absolute best for my usage, but I could use another.
I don't know if anything can compare to that. I have one that's now 8 years old. It's outside in the sun and snow all year round and still looking brand new.

Whenever?

Unfortunately they are moving in droves to where I live. There has been a mass exodus of annoying libs from Chicago and other IL cities moving across the border into south Lake and Porter counties in Indiana. I live on a nice lake in IN about 20 min from the IL state line and 1.5 hours from Chicago. It is crazy the number of FIBS (Farking Illinois Bast*rds, as they are called here) that have recently relocated to this area.
Just like Texans that have found Californians annoying who have relocated there, same is true with the FIBS that are moving here. The common belief here is that FIBS should stay in their own state, clean up their own mess, and stop voting for lib scum like Lightfoot and Pritzker, rather than cut and run to Indiana. They have totally trashed Chicago and many surrounding areas, bankrupted IL, destroyed their police departments, passed ridiculous new laws, and now those who voted for them are bailing out because it's a complete sh*tshow in IL, especially Chicago.
There is a lot tension here now because residents of these nice safe communities here are not willing to tolerate the ridiculous "progressive" agenda and lib attitude. I have even seen yard signs and flags with "Dems not welcome" and "FIBS GTFO." And those are the nice ones. LOL.

As for the B&S one, they're not the same. They're nice, just doesnt feel as "rugged" as the Craftsman one.
Went to do a return they treated me like a scam artist after talking about the last time you returned something was three years ago.
That doesn't make sense.
