Good deal but I've been getting Bluetooth problems with this one… Bluetooth adapter keeps becoming unavailable even after they swapped the board, twice..

Terrible on mobile devices with Chrome browser. Works okay with Firefox, but still kinda crappy.
I think there is a memory leak on their site. Even on PCs I get the "out of memory" error in Chrome. The site is unusable on mobile.

Lenovo customer service and quality is garbage

NORMAL Lenovo CS is pretty lousy (M820Q owner here…) but if you buy their Premiere support level (yes, more money, I get it) then their support is outstanding, and you'll get someone who speaks (local language) immediately, you'll get fast next-day hardware repairs/appointments, and you'll get very good, fast service.

How big is the performance gap between this and the 6800u graphically?
30% to 40% on average and sometimes even bigger than that. 660M in 6600U has 6 CU whereas 680M in 6800U has 12.

Thinkpad has great support by default already. This come with on-site support. They send out a guy with spare parts to fix it for you.

I'm aware. But if you don't buy Premiere, then you'll have to deal with first level folks until you can get them to agree to replace the hardware. It's not terribly difficult, but it's not nearly as nice as dealing with Premiere, where typically the phone is immediately answered, the tech immediately agrees to replace the hardware without 20 questions and time wasters, etc.

How would something like this be a for a non-gamer / stock trader ... ? I don't need high quality GPU, just mainly fast processor and at least 16GB DDR5.

Screen size is also somewhat of a consideration as well, so this 13" might be (certainly) on the low end... but anyway just wanted to hear some thoughts...

I feel like all I see are gaming laptops or small business laptops and for me I'm unfortunately somewhere in the middle... (certainly not on the gaming side of things though)

I have a t14s. The x13 is only marginally smaller than t14s. In my opinion since the 14 inch ultra light laptops are becoming so lightweight now there really isn't much of a reason to get a screen smaller than 14 in. You may be saved three quarters of an inch in each direction. And the 14-in laptops are readily available in the 3 lb range. If I really needed something smaller than a 3 lb 14-in notebook personally I would go for a tablet with keyboard since those are the only computers that really save you a significant amount of weight these days

I have a question. Does anybody really buy Lenovo's laptops at the supposed list price of $2,159.00? Or do they quote a ridiculously high price and give huge "discounts"? 😅

I think they just add up the MSRP on all components and that's the "full price" which is never the actual price. I love lenovo's plethora of discounts because once in a while you can double or triple-dip.

Like right now you can apply these 2 coupons, get $100 off via Amex if you have that offer and also get 12% cash back. Pretty awesome if you're in the market.

I think Amex is still offering 100 off $500 or more at Lenovo. Could make this deal a little slicker.

I hadn't created a Perks account previously, as my employers never showed up in the search.

Today I tried my work email, and just typed in the company name.

Ymmv, but it worked!

Any news on when Intel's 13th Gen or AMD's 7000 laptop chips are coming out?
