Can anyone confirm this works on Costco gas purchases? IE does it register that you are at a Gas pump as opposed to just a general Costco merchandise payment? If so this is great!

It worked on Costco gas purchase. I tried it during last weekend and could see 10% cb on the account.

After you log into your account,where you see current balance, over to the right you will see a tab for Pay card and next to that a tab that says More.
Click on the More tab and in the dropdown menu click on Rewards details.
On that page it will show your recent transactions,earned rate,and rewards earned.

I didn't know I was eligible for this, stumbled across the offer while I was searching for another offer. It wasn't even in the traditional section of offers. It was in the section where Chase offers their other cards and balance transfer offers.

Seems strange to me, they would have you sign in with, last name, last digits on card and zip, rather than just signing into the credit card site and opting in for the offer.

Maybe you're right. There's another reason for it, judging from the way they're doing it. Sorta different than typical. Could've just had people opt in when they sign into their card's site.

for the promo, i don't think they know of a clean way to attach it to some accounts but not others. there's no way to do that randomly.
