Buyer beware, these are not legitimate keys, and can be deactivated anytime. You will be out $30 when that happens. Also keep an eye on your credit card statement as people have complained about fraud after dealing with the seller (gamestop is not the seller, a foreign 3rd party is)

I wouldn't call an MSDN license a pirated key. The seller is probably buying thousands of dollars in those keys, limited to X (use to be 10) number of activations per key.

Clarification: I bought Office Pro 2021 in January 2022 from SoftKeyWorld. Mine is registered as an MSDN license. Don't know about other sellers. There is a script you can run to check your license type.

I installed the product. Opening Word, it prompts to Accept the Agreement stating Office valid until Oct 17 2022, after that most features will be disabled. Why only 5 days of license? Am I gotten ripped off? Anyone else seeing this?

Activate through setup.office.com. Sign in to your Microsoft account and it should ask you to enter the key. If that doesn't work, I would contact the seller.

They are and if they find out, you will be fined, heavily. You'd better hope you don't upset the wrong person who knows you are using greyware. One call is all it takes for you to make news headlines.

That being said, M$ makes it pretty easy for you to get it for free or almost free. Check your school or business. Chances are they have a way for you to get you a copy that is legal and might be totally free. Check your State services too.

(P.S. you could always use their online version for free, if it still exists.)

If Microsoft wanted to, all they'd have to say that there was no financial transaction between the code user and Microsoft, or a Microsoft reseller. Doesn't matter if it was a code bought at a flea market, eBay or Craigslist.

BUYER BEWARE! A buddy bought this using his Paypal account. He uses SMS authentication for the account. After buying the product, he is now getting messages of someone trying to enter his account!

Good thing he did not use a credit card!

You would think slickdeals would block a shady business like this one.

My wife's cousin's friend also totally had this happen.

But seriously, I paid with paypal too and guess what? Nothing. Stacksocial has issues, but that's not one of them. Not the first time I have bought from them.

Google Docs is also free. Libre Office is free. The people looking at this post probably need a more complete and or compatible office suite. Browser based solutions tend to be limited or not completely compatible with MS Office.
