Have both 3 and 7p. Not worth spending hundred dollars over.
I have the 7P and I think just the ChatMix feature alone is worth the 100 bucks. However not this model anymore.

The new model has USB-C Charging. My Microusb port on my 7p is pretty finicky after a number of years. Paying a bit more to have a USB-C Port instead so it doesn't wear out is worth it.
Am I missing something? I bought the 7x several months ago at 119 and I thought that was a heck of a deal. Shouldn't this deal get a lot more traction?

Do these suffer from the same wireless interference issues that most headsets have? My corsair xbox headset cuts out often :/

You issue is related to the channel being used for the headset on the 2.4 ghz band is congested. Your interference issue can be resolved by using a wifi signal scanner and scan which channel on the 2.4 ghz band is not congested and set your router to that whatever channel you manually select.

Wouldn't even know where to start on that

The 7X is actually a newer model than the 9x. Comes with a usb-c dongle to connect versus the 9x which uses the proprietary Xbox connection which is prone to interference

Ahh. Steelseries and their weird naming conventions.

The 7x is superior as it has a USB dongle and doesn't have the connection issues that the 9x has.

Thanks. I wouldn't have mind if it didn't have the dongle but after some digging (and other's comments) I realize it is older and still uses micro usb..
Something I thought I was upgrading.

Almost forgot, best part about the 7X is they work on all consoles, flip that tiny switch on the reciever and you can use it on Xbox or PlayStation, or PC !!! However I am reading now, that the 9X does not work on multiple consoles, like the 7X !
Multi console support was exactly why I grabbed the 7X. I paid around this price for it and feel it was a fair price.

Got these for ~$48 on Amazon warehouse after 20% discount. Box came in like new w/ original wrap. Also had to buy a cheap Xbox wireless adapter to use on PC (~$15, can use BT but much more input lag).

So far, so good. Clamp is a bit tight for my big head (wear a size 8 cap), will have to continue to wear/stretch to further access. Battery life is great. Audio is average. Xbox & PC w/ dongle connectivity is fast & simple.

Overall, wouldn't buy for $110 & instead gamble on Amazon Warehouse. Worst case, do a free return.

These same headsets are $99 at Walmart. YMMV and B&M of course…

I have the 7 as well and early on I got one of those magnetic charging cords. Huge upgrade, no more accidentally standing up while the headset is plugged in and jerking it off your head. Saves the port too.
