I've had many brands that have crapped out just after the warranty (especially Ryobi).

I went all orange several years ago and have not had an issue. You can't beat the lifetime warranty on tool AND battery.

Imo, depends on which battery system you are invested in, or want to invest in. I can't speak to these specific tools but (again imo) Ridgid offers a lot more bang for the buck, especially considering the warranty.

Brushless VS Brushed, when brushless dies usually from extended use and heat its done, with Brushed those brushes tend to wear out before the tool dies. You can replace brushes where brushless you're in it for a new tool.
Both have their intended target audience.
