I don't think there was a deal topic for multitool, it was a more generic thread (+multiple posts for ryobi/ridgid deals):

https://slickdeals.net/f/16116484-direct-tools-outlet-additional-savings-on-select-ryobi-ridgid-tools-20-off-free-shipping

I'd suggest to create an alert for direct tools outlet (I did)

Brushless VS Brushed, when brushless dies usually from extended use and heat its done, with Brushed those brushes tend to wear out before the tool dies. You can replace brushes where brushless you're in it for a new tool.
Both have their intended target audience.

I'd love to see a comparison of the brushed vs brushless in this tool.

Imo, depends on which battery system you are invested in, or want to invest in. I can't speak to these specific tools but (again imo) Ridgid offers a lot more bang for the buck, especially considering the warranty.
I will collect all subcompact series if there is any deal. Like the size and power.

This is handy for drywall. But it's a tool a homeowner will use once every 5 years. You can buy these corded for a third the price.
