The 5600 has been going down to $130 and will certainly be there or lower around Black Friday. Almost identical performance.

Don't buy this unless you really need a CPU now.

The 5600X will be about 30% faster, according to userbenchmark [userbenchmark.com]. Consider carefully other bottlenecks in your system, such as RAM, motherboard, hard drive (especially your drive), and graphics card. A faster processor will not yield strong results if you load from a 5400 RPM drive, for example.

it is showing "DDR-3200 support", just wondering if it is going to work with 2133?
Yes but you would want 3200/3600 for best performance

I have an i7-6700k. Would this 5600X be enough of a CPU upgrade to be worth it for me? Any help is appreciated. Yes I know I need a new mobo but they are pretty cheap these days for this CPU.
Yes. 6700k is only 4c/8t while 5600x is 6c/12t.better IPC, much more efficient, big jump overall. You better build an entirely new PC as you'll benefit more with NVME hd, 3600+ ram, pcie4.0 gpu

Free Uncharted and 10% cash back with the Prime Visa too. Tempting. Would this be a worthwhile upgrade over a Ryzen 5 3600?

I don't really need to upgrade from my r5 2600 yet but this price is tempting to extend my systems life on this motherboard a little bit. Hmmm

Worth upgrading from my 3600? Maybe reduce stuttering in games? I don't plan to migrate to AM5 for some time.

Does this come with the Uncharted bundle? Amazon doesn't list it but AMD site says they are one of the places that are supposed to have it? Microcenter also doesn't list the game bundle and are supposed to have it as well. Newegg is the only site that seems to be advertising the CPUs with the Uncharted bundle.
Best Buy currently having a sale across a number of their AMD CPUs. They are selling the 5600X for the same price and, yes, they give you Uncharted.

Bought this for $300 near launch, crazy seeing the prices fall so much. Great CPU, both efficient and powerful.

If you're playing esports titles on 1080p and you have a high refresh monitor? Yes, you might notice a decent increase. If you're at 1440p probably you're bottle necked by your GPU with anything less than a 3090

I would look for the r5600 it should be $130 again. I just went from a 3600 to the 5600 and noticed games like BFV and 2042 are running smoother. My 3600 would run around 4.1ghz and the 5600 is running around 4.450ghz. I'm using an rx6700xt and run at 1440p
