I own the 14" and have commented on it being a great laptop previously. It's still going strong after 1.5 years as my primary personal laptop and handles PD and DP (dual monitor via a hub) via USB C just fine. Yes it is clunky, but there really isn't anything comparable in the price range for the specs that you're getting.

Gateway sucks ten tons of crap…..hp pisses me off too….they knowingly engineered the laptops of 6 years or so ago with crap hinges….my hp still works but I can't replace the hinges because of their duma$s engineering…lmao

You're right ! I bought this laptop (refurbished) last year, tried to put in a NVME M.2 but id didn't recognize the NVME, I tried other M.2 SATAs no problem !

Are you refering to an actual Displayport port? No it doesn't have a dedicated displayport....

It's decent but could you add another 8gb ram? Otherwise that is a terrible configuration as is.
