you can't really tell, as they're not legally allowed to do so (and so they can't advertise that feature). Most of the ones that do have been removed from Amazon, even if they DON'T advertise the feature.
I had to buy 3 different splitters to find one that worked, which was the ViewHD VHD-1x2MN3D (~$20 on eBay).

This is a splitter. 1x2 one tv to two device

"Bi-Directional"
But... it can't do 2 displays simultaneously, like most splitters can

Then it is a switcher.... switcher switch between signal output or input (both for bi directional), splitter split signal to two output simultaneously, there's no point to go the other direction for the splitter.
Good luck!

Umm... What exactly is HDCP removal used for?
My non-HDMI (composite) example:
I have my cable box connected via a composite connection to a Magnavox DVR. It records fine to the hard drive, and then later I play that recording on the TV. But when I try to further record that program to A DVD via the Magnavox's built-in DVD recorder (or an external DVD recorder), it won't let me for most cable programs because of HDCP.. It knows, damn it, it, knows! (Not that I'm selling that DVD, I just want to bring it to another house.)
