These write about 115MB/s sequential and 23MB/s random 4K. Reads are 420MB/s sequential and 13MB/s random 4K. How much do you expect from a USB flash drive (not an SSD)?

thanks for posting this OP Smilie .. I've been using the older model 64 GB version of this for years now as a temporary backup location for files on my PC that have changed until I get my lazy butt in gear and save them again to a device not connected to the PC

One drawback with my model , I don't know if this has been corrected in this probably more recent model ... for some odd reason when I attach a usb 3.0 dock my samsung drive really does NOT like that and stops working completely.. fortunately samsung has been very good about honoring their warranty, they pay to have the defective drive shipped back to them and mail you out another one or at least that's been my experience

Great for the car. I have a 128gb version of this model in my older car with USB but no built in BT, doesn't stick out and get in the way or get broken off. Hundreds of albums, I never run out of music. Going strong for a couple of years so far.

I had a 128gb of this on my Tesla Senty mode, but it died after about a year. I'm trying an endurance microSD in a USB adapter now so we'll see if that lasts longer.
