Visually no. It is all just the small QoL thing when using a real monitor. USB ports, u don't need a remote to wake up the monitor from sleep. It is pretty stupid when u slap ur keyboard and expect the monitor wakes up and end up realize u need to go grab the remote :x big problem ? No, but if main use is monitor and don't need all the tv feature m, then it is probably better to get this at this price .
Yeah, no one asked for all of your shitty uninformed opinions, bud.
48 is just too big for a monitor.

I think I'll end up with the 42" LG C2. Which is still going to be a huge adjustment from my current 32"

Most people? I don't know a single person personally who has one.
I use one to connect two 27" displays to my M1 MBA.

Yes, you don't need to announce. I know some people use it. There is a major semantic difference between 'some' and 'most', and it's more than a few anecdotes.

Purchased this deal from B&H earlier today! Free shipping! FedEx tracking says that it has already shipped and that delivery is expected tomorrow. That's really impressive considering I am in WA state and it shipped from NJ.

What version of HDMI? It doesn't list it on the Best Buy specs. Oh wow. Like others are wondering 💭 this or the C2 42 inch
Also2.1, but under 138hz it only supports 10bit. Under displayport it supports a dsc version 12bit 4k138hz.
Unfortunately only the displayport supports the wake up feature so If you are using a rtx30series and want something without dsc, you might want the cheaper c2

Only 120hz? For this price, you would expect 240hz or 360hz.
This can be OCed to 138hz, and OLED is not that fast in terms of frame rates yet.

How does this compare to the $899.99 - AORUS FO48U 48" 4K OLED Gaming Monitor, 3840x2160 Display, 120 Hz Refresh Rate, 1ms Response Time (GTG), 1x Display Port 1.4, 2x HDMI 2.1, 2x USB 3.0, with USB Type-C, Space Audio

https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B09886GDFD
Aorus got worse frame rate, a kvm option(which is better), less color accuracy and peak brightness.
If I'm not wrong the lowest price of this was 599 earlier this year, so if you really prefer this you'd better wait.

This or the Samsung A2 for almost half the price, I presume the main difference would be 120hz vs 60hz refresh rate, but I don't do much gaming, mainly will be using as a monitor for work.
Which monitor is this? I am looking for a new monitor for work as well. I am thinking about getting this one. Any thoughts?

The most obvious thing is that this has a 0.1ms Response Time while the one you mentioned has a 1ms Response Time.
They're both LG OLED panels man. They're going to have near identical response times.

You can't trust manufacturer's specs for response time anyway, you have to check independent reviewers.

I'm surprised so many people can't fathom a 48" monitor when most set ups I've seen for work and play are 2x 21.5"-28" monitors so effectively the same width. Not even for productivity either, usually working/playing off the main monitor and keeping social media and/or video streaming on the secondary screen
48" 4k UHD is the same PPI as a 24" 1080p. Pretty bad pixel density for splitting into separate screens for productivity. The people using multiple 24-27" screens generally have them in QHD, not 1080p. That gives the dual screen setup 33% more pixels in width than one of these.

I never thought I would say that a monitor is too big
