To be blunt, I'd pay the $5 difference to deal with Amazon (especially if you have their CC) instead of NewEgg but to each their own.

It's the Civic of SSDs. If you want something a little more... exciting, get a NV2 or MP34 for a few bucks less.

Out of curiosity, why those over the Samsung 980 or the WD Blue SN570 ($73)? I've been looking at a lot of benchmarks and reviews for a basic second gen 3 NVMe drive. Already have a gen4 for boot drive. I've noticed Team Group has some of the most complaints from customers trying to deal with returns. NV2 looks quite promising, but I'm waiting for further reviews to see if benchmarks are the same, if parts get worse, etc later down the line.

Techpowerup had this and the WD Blue SN570 benchmarked surprisingly high for relatively budget gen 3 drives: https://www.techpowerup.com/revie...tb/16.html

From what I've seen so far, I think I'd only consider the NV2 in the future. Maybe a 2TB for my 3rd NVMe slot for games and photos/videos.

I've had 2 team group sata ssds. No issues at all. Maybe their nvme ssds are bad?
