I prefer my Verizon Visa, if Verizon customer of course. 4% gas & groceries, 3% dining/take-out, 2% Verizon and 1% everything else. No annual fee or foreign transaction fee. PS only CC for Verizon autopay discount too.

Dang solid card but not a verizon customer.
I guess this isn't a bad card for 2% cashback on everything but not outside US transactions.
To all: Not sure ifyou've seen the offer sent out of $100 off $500 hotel / airfare purchase it wasn sent out.
I love this card.... unfortunately my card expires at the end of the month and I received a letter saying they have decided to not renew my account. IDK if it's the fact that I always never had to pay any interest by staying ahead of the billing cycle with payments OR if I averaged $100- $150 each month in cash back 😄maybe both. They lost money on my account for over 3 years by collecting no interest and still having to pay me cash back.
I wonder how long after the account expires would they approve an application for a new card. 😄

Wow... that's interesting... but they probably didn't lose as much money as you think because of merchant fees.

You sold me on only CC for the Verizon discount. Done and done. Instant approval.
Costco is going downhill big way. Recently there is nothing worth to buy at Costco. They adding exclusions to their return policy every year. Prices are higher than in many other stores and niow they want to increase membership price.Gas price is lower at Sams in my area . Sams card gives 5 % on gas anyway
Be awate that Paypal CC may be worthless for you. My card was suspended after 3 w for no reason( suspicious transaction) and I had to call their CS. Part of their verification is checking mobile phone number. . I gave them my Red Pocket phone number and they told me that they can not verify my phone number because they can only verify numbers from real phone company ( Tmobile ATT etc) so there is nothing they can do and card will be suspended forever. Cancelled card next day. Never met so useless CS. They totally do not care - I am sure it will go the same way if any problems
This is the best credit card, I have been using it for probably 10 years now. The 2% cash is good, but the best benefit is the Virtual Account Number (VAN) feature. I create new card numbers for each online purchase I make. I also create a new number for each recurring payment I make like phone, insurance, water bill basically any online payment portal that has the potential to be hacked. The VANs don't work with Amazon though as once the VAN is used, only that merchant can charge it again and Amazon seems to use a different Merchant number for every purchase I make. Oh, and now you can make them from their phone app, which is awesome as we traveled to Alaska and we could make a new card for each campground we stayed at. You know those places have no computer security at all and probably cannot spell security. Even if I didn't want the 2% I would get this card for the VAN's. I looked at one other VAN card vendor and they had a very poor substitute.
Citi allows you to make cards with expiration dates up to two years out and anything in between that so its perfect for reoccurring bills that some monthly and especially if they vary
each month like our water bill. -Bill
