Great price for a game that literally came out in July.
Metacritic score of 77
30+ hour story

Also just wanted to point out that the content is most likely NOT appropriate for a 7 year old (ex: abuse, death, apocalypse, hysteria, etc.)

My understanding is that it is mostly a visual novel, a genre where the gameplay is reading, and the game is much less focused on the catch and train monsters aspect. It is also supposed to be more gritty and mature with focus on character interactions.

Crappy game, but for Digimon and visual novel fans it's a freaking steal. If you don't know, be ready to just mash buttons to go through the story, it has minimal actual gameplay, it's a VISUAL NOVEL. I'm a big Digimon fan but pass on the novel story kind of thing. It has nice reviews though for the right audience.

Not unless they like to read A LOT. It has minimal actual gameplay, it's like 80% cutscenes and 20% actual gameplay.

I hope they have more games at this price. Hasn't their ad leaked yet?

Edit: Never mind. Yes, it has, and the NS games on there are disappointing. Hopefully they have something more going on.

No. It is a visual novel with rare & clunky gameplay. Look elsewhere

I think most digimon games that are released nowadays are "T rated" games with "mature themes" because of the mostly adult digimon fanbase

I remember the DS era still had a lot of digimon games made for kids

I'm a VN fan and didn't like this. The game forces you to play through twice to get the true ending.
