You do realize a remote start can work with A/C too, right? Judging from the comment you quoted, plus your comment, it doesn't seem like you realize this.
You'll still need the actual key to drive the car.
It'll work fine. You're also going to want the ADS-THR-CH5 harness. Lastly, they may charge you about 15 bucks to wire up a relay to control your parking lights. Just how it is with your car.
This particular bundle uses the DC3 brain. You need a bundle that includes the CM900 and blade. To you, zero difference in usability or features, it's just what's compatible with your car. I don't see any on their website right now, but I'm sure they have it. Maybe go into the store and speak with the installer (not a blue shirt)? No idea how it would ever work from 3,000 feet
After installing it the way it was supposed to be, I have not had a single issue. I also love the range on this thing.
