Edit: nvm found it under original post. Sale ends today.
Also, as I have already looked at terms of total tech membership, if you sign up, take advantage of pricing offers, and try to weasel out a cancelation, they will charge you for the amount of savings you incurred.
If you're a tech member (meaning you already have purchased the one year) then you get to reap the savings of $110 and pay $139.99(plus tax)/

Lock, Lock, Lock or Lock, Unlock, Lock. Many techs will set to L Ul L as it's harder to screw up, but if the Compustar remote is dead a person can still use OEM to remote start - just have to know what they set it to. Believe LLL is default, but ya L Ul L is preferred so doesn't happen in pocket or just while trying to lock the vehicle.

Would this work to fix my problem? Or might there be something else?
Get them to say, "ya, no problem - they're wrong". Not that you really want the "wrong" guy working on your stuff. But they are generally not a complex install and fun things can be added like turn on the rear defrost if "trunk" is held for 3 secs, etc. etc.
edit: If they say "no" ask them which product does work.
