You forgot to mention -10% back for Amazon Prime Card VISA holders Smilie

I bought the 5600X instead of this. IMO a better value buy

Excellent value. Probably the best bang for the buck. I used my current PC for 8 years (Jan 2015!) and used 1 year old components so my computer components are 9 years old.

My budget was as close to $1000 as I could get and I think I nailed it with the help of Amazon & BF sales.

The 5600 and 5600X are identical only the X version is factory clocked a bit higher which you can do yourself. The 5600G, however, is a different chip with less cache and runs slower but does have built in graphics.
