Great deal
I agree. I ordered tons of parts during BF. Waiting for the case and MB. I even got free 32GB DDR5 ram by getting 7700X via MicroCenter and the total cost would be the same if I get a 3800. Except I plan to stick with my 1070 and wait for the next gen like 7900XT ot 4070 early next year.

I haven't done the breakdown on parts but for 2 grand I expect better than the 7700X...

I'm building a new PC with 13700KF, Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite Ax mobo, 32 gb DDR5 6400 CL32 ram, 2TB WD SN850X 2TB, Deepcool LS520 240mm AIO, Cooler master H500 case, reusing my 850W EVGA PSU and Reusing my 2070S until the GTX 4070 is released and prices stabilize. So far I'm in for $1200 but I'm also attempting to future proof a bit and using high quality parts. Could have saved $300+ if I were willing to use the 12600k, DDR4 and a Z690 mobo. So, yeah, this doesn't seem like much of a deal.

Always see mixed feedback. How reliable is this brand? Or which band is top in durability, reliability and quality?

Well built and reliable PCs. Respectable grade parts. I've had mine since 2016 and it has been a pure plug and play experience.

I'm on one right now from 2017, liquid cooled with a 1080. It has run 24/7 except to move houses a few times (military) and to blow out the fans a few times. Absolutely rock solid.

Thank you. Think I should wait untill 4080 comes down and we see them being built at the same prices?

How does this CPU compared to the Intel from the other thread?
why not just wait 4 days for the new AMD video cards to come out rather than wait for the 4080 to go down in price in a year! The AMD list price is below $1000 for their new top of the line video card and they don't require 1000 watt power and their connectors won't break or melt like the 4080 and 4090

Sorry, I don't know Alienware products. The only thing I've seen and heard was a bit of limited space internally for good airflow in their desktops

Now I have to wait for a new PC and there's event's on the 14th I'm going to miss because these shit computers. Cyberpower is way more reliable.
