I thought the same thing until I played it. I definitely disagree with where the story went. But it's worth playing for the technical achievements alone. The physics and graphics make the gameplay very fun. And Ellie is like 60% of the game. So her part is worth playing too. Plus there are flashbacks that flesh out her and Joel's time together too.

At this price, if you enjoy Joel and Ellie then the game is worth it for their sections.

It hurts at first, but then becomes a pretty fantastic story. Keep your mind open to possibilities beyond all biases.

agree with others, it's a fantastic game, at 10$ it's an absolute steal for the graphics and gameplay alone... gameplay wise, it's an improvement on the original in every single way.

Might be a stupid question but will this play in a PS5? We are buying into the PS5 ecosystem this Christmas so didn't know if the PS5 plays PS4 games as well.
