I just installed this on my 65" TV in the bedroom. It is very bright, so bright that I've had to lower the brightness down to 50% sometimes 30%. It pairs easily with Alexa and can be controlled with voice commands. Kasa is supposed to push an update which would allow this to sync to music (hoping it happens). My only gripe is lack of USB connection - this would have allowed me to connect directly to TV for synced lights on and off.
I also purchased a Govee brand during the BF, CM sale. The lights were weaker and found it to be unstable. I ended up putting those on my 32" monitor. Brightness is meh. I would go all Kasa next time.

I can't believe how easy and fast it was to set up some smart plugs with Alexa compared to other stuff I bought in the last couple years.
Edit: never mind, no hub required as stated in product page
