I bought them and they're awful. Don't hold their charge anywhere I've ever used them and the ones that came in the package aren't charged

Don't do it! That's exactly what I did and I have to change batteries every few days. They're awful!

I bought some about a month ago and they are terrible. They don't hold charge for more than a week or so, and are also physically larger than normal AA batteries. Sent them back and sticking with Panasonic eneloop from now on.

Eneloops are great, I have a bunch from when Costco was selling them. IKEA Ladda are made in the same Japanese factory... they are same weight and can't tell the difference, except cheaper https://www.slrlounge.com/panason...-the-same/

One thing to keep in mind with these and any "rebranded" batteries is that they are often wrapped with the new brand label. This can make the batteries too tight for a few applications. Ran into this problem with Amazon Basics AA rechargeables being too tight to fit into some LED candles. I had to remove the wrap (relatively easy) in order to get them to fit. They work great otherwise.

Bought a bunch of rechargable brands seeking cheaper alternatives to Eneloop and finally came to the conclusion that Eneloops are worth it.

But this price of almost $1 per battery is so tempting... must... resist. LMAO

YMMV but purchased these with the super cheap 12 pack deal the other month. Can't say about how well the charge is because all the devices I tried used them in didn't work due to the size being slightly bigger than any other AA battery I've used.

Wife goes through batteries a bit with decorative lighting so thought it would be worthwhile but none of them would fit in the battery compartment.

Again YMMV, but just wanted to give my experience

Years back when I bought these, I was told they were on par with the gold standard Eneloops. This is just a one-person sample set, but that was not my experience. One by one, these seemed to lose their ability hold a charge, and I eventually recycled all of them. Meanwhile I have some Eneloops that must be approaching 15ish years old, and they're still fine. I'll just keep buying those. The price difference is nothing spread out across that much time.

The Ladda batteries are rebranded eneloop Pros and they are not substitutes of regular white eneloops. They have different specs and they have a different use case.

I bought Ikea's Ladda and they only last me a month for my automated pump to water my plants. Eneloop whites last me 2 full months. Similar for uage in the computer for my stationary bike. So, the Ladda brand is a thumbs down for my use case.

I don't really care how often I have to charge batteries for silly little seasonal decorative things but it does matter if they don't fit so thanks for this feedback.

I can tell you since I just bought them, they're not made in China or Japan. I believe they were made in Malaysia? (Above poster just confirmed this.) Definitely wasn't China or Japan.

Anyway I can't speak to the quality or how long they last, I use these cheaper ones for things like remotes etc.

As is always mentioned the IKEA LADDA series are supposedly good and I consider those my "good rechargeables".

Anyway for less than a dollar a battery who cares if they're Eneloops or not. It's better than buying Duracell or energizer which are like what, $6 a battery these days? Ridiculous.
You are better off buying dollar tree trash batteries over these

Pure Garbage.....I got 3 cycles out of most of them before my charger refused to even notice them, shocking them did no good. But then again so are Energizer and many other brands. Meanwhile, Enerloops from 2015 are still going strong and some generic AA's that got well reviewed on amazon (EBR's?) are also going strong.

Amazon sells great, cheap alkaline disposables...but for rechargables, read the reviews and spend a little more.
