Does this works if I am grandfathered from sprint ?

edit:

"the offer will require the customer be on a Magenta biller (not Sprint) and have 2 or more (paid) lines. For reference, "Magenta Biller"

No go for Tmobile ONE 9-12 lines (for me)

Still check with a few agents if you have time to spare. My exact plan might not be the reason why I'm not eligible.

UPDATE: T-Mobile App Chat said I was eligible and added a line for me. The BYOD promotion shows up on the Plan Details and Service Promos pages. Two other promotions of mine no longer show up but Tforce confirmed they are still active.

Seems most people who are told are not eligible, are able to add the line and see the promotion. We shall see if they stick.

My $30 credit showed up after I activated the Netflix Premium Add On that adds $7 per month. Alternatively, I read somewhere that if you disable auto pay, wait a few minutes for the plan price to update, then enable it again, that it forces a recalculation and you would be able to see the discount.

It sounds like you are on the 2/100 plan that is limited to 3 lines. I was on this and talked about switching to the 2/120 plan here but was rejected in multiple attempts

Yesterday, I found out that starting Aug 2021, the old free lines like the 2017 line on us can be transferred over to Magenta. So I decided to let go of kickback and try to transfer to Magenta with my insider code and free line intact (I also wanted priority data because I can't use data in busy areas). It worked first try with an iMessage agent and then I was able to add the free line online 2 hours before the deal expired (chat refused 2x before I resorted to DIY).
May I ask how did people get the insider code/discount? I was out of touch with TM deals for few years and dont know much about that, thanks

Magenta 55+ , I added the line myself 3 days ago after i was told my account is not eligible, still no discount or promo under the line. I called today to cancel, was told it s done 5 hours ago. But there is no email confirmation, the line still activate under my online account (receiving calls and texts). Nothing new under recent account activities. Any one here with tmo line cancellation experience?

Ask a rep.

And then ask another.

And so on.

Tell them you're extremely disappointed, you wanted to get this free line but it took over 6 hours to get replies with t-force on Twitter and you were unable to get it done in between your work schedule and weekend responsibilities.

Or that you waited on hold for 2 hours and got hung up on, and did it many times but could never talk to anyone.

I canceled mine yesterday as I never got the text or promo to show on my account (like you I added it myself on Saturday). I texted to 611. Took about 10-15 minutes and it was done. Went into my account and the extra line was gone. My plan cost reverted from $90 back to $60 for 2 lines. I asked about being credited any charges associated with the new line and they said I'd have to pay. I only had the line for 3 days so figured it was worth the cost for taking a chance it would work. Bummer it didn't but at least I tried! Still don't know how the few 55+ people on here said they got it??

Thank you.

This just cemented my opinion about how bad most of tmo csr. I though the only way to cancel a line is to call. I will try the chat later.

Also I will not be surprised if some of SDer are just lying here by saying it worked for the plan they own, to push some of us to take the risk to be their guinea pigs. I maybe wrong, but it s a possibility.
Congratulations for the one who got the free line.

Free Lines On Us > AT&T and VZ combined!!!
Correct

I will never do business with AT&T and Verizon is way more expensive than TMobile so I'm very happy with TMobile

just chatted with T force regarding "2023 Line P1", it is indeed BOGO, meaning you HAVE TO activate two new line to receive credit for one of the lines. It is not great as original "2022 BYOD Line P1" in this thread.

Don't let tMo mess up your plan. They are devious. Every time you speak to a rep, the rules change. In the end, you will end up paying for them. I'm never changing ANYTHING else on my plan. YOU CANNOT TRUST TMO!!!
Got worked on my plan. I had two previous free lines. Added this third, one of the previous ones fell off and now they are trying to tell me the previous one wasn't valid even though I had it for over a year. Been going back and forth for a few days now, still no resolution.

Same circumstances here. I called 611 to cancel yesterday and the line was gone a few hours later. I also got a text confirmation.

Have you confirmed that the discount actually shows in your account online?

I switched to Magenta Max as I already had eight lines, and they would not let me add a 9th without switching.

I had two different t-force agents guarantee me that the price would not change.

But today my overall price went from $163 a month to $308 a month.

😭
