I bought direct from Samsung couple weeks ago. Paid less than what's posted here. Check out the other recent thread. Don't forget to add on the free filter too - info in the other thread. Delivery updates via text and email have been firm. Customer support very responsive so far... especially since recently it's hard to get a live person on the phone or chat for anything.

Got mine from prior Samsung EPP deal which was slicker at $1400ish with panels, got my extra set of panels in mail, Samsung extended warranty, extra filter, free install haul.

I don't have any of the problems you listed. No missing parts, no cracks in the water pitcher, no issues with the flap for the doors.
