Here's my (opinionated) pro and con list relative to each other:
Logi G435
Pros:
Much lighter weight
More compact dimensions
Sound is decent (am not an audiophile btw)
Cons:
Battery life is 8 hours* (idk the usage stats for this)
Bass not heavy (idk not an audiophile)
Indifference:
Eccentric color options for the cheaper price point. The black and neon is seldom at the same discount price but shows up once in a while via SD.
Not LED heavy other than the power on and connected light.
USB-C for charging (modern i guess)
Razer Nari Essential:
Pros:
Longer battery life at 16hr* (idk usage stats to achieve this; works fine for me on 2-3 days of playing valorant or overwatch for at least 2-3hrs/day)
Potential THX 7.1 Surround Sound* (Need to install software for it and not all games support surround sound via headphones.)
Cons:
Really bulky/thick af ear cups
noticeably heavier compared to the G435
Indifference:
THX 7.1 Surround Sound. I don't care for this cuz not an audiophile. There is a list of games that show compatibility but not the ones I play. I have two ears and if they are cupped with a headset then Stereo should be fine.
Not LED heavy but I'm not looking at them when they're on my head...

Fit is extremely light and comfortable. I have a freakishly large head and I max the fit out, but because of the light weight and light clamp, they are still comfortable.
Sound quality is good and has good bass. I've heard that the mic is good but doesn't isolate your voice from background noise well due to it's design. I'd recommend these if you don't need them for Xbox.

What makes the steel series better? I'm debating between these, the nadir, and steel series. Will primarily be used for ps4/PC gaming, with minimal to no mic use.

I bought it for its low price. It's indeed very light. Not an audiophile so okay for me. It doesn't hurt my ears for long usage hours so that's a big positive for me.
Microphone picks up a lot, but I use discord to voice chat and upped the noise gate. It will pick up game audio from your monitor, so you will have to send the game audio into the headset. This was the only way to stop the sound from reaching the other members of your voice chat.

My biggest gripe with it right now is sometimes, it will drop the connection and then reconnect after 6 seconds. I think its because the receiver is next to my Bluetooth dongle.
Sometimes the microphone stops working as well but I just reset the headset to fix it.
For 30 dollars its a worth a try to see if you can live with the issues. I paid 80 and was very happy with this headset for months.

for $18/$30 the mic is not that bad
sound is good and headset is lightweight, enjoyable to use... i actually tend to gravitate to it more than my more expensive hyperX headset
would recommend this for $30 aswell
Will work with most phones and mac computers, iPads etc...
Also works nice with my Sony XR TV

Cons are the light speed dongle has very short reach. On Bluetooth I can go across my house without issue. But the headphones only seem to connect to one cell phone via Bluetooth will not be found or connect to a laptop or another phone I tried it with. Not sure why, if anyone else has had this issue and resolved it please let me know.
Also the head band only has a thin microcloth like covering, so if you need padding for the top of your head this provides none.
