I just picked one up in-store for $71, Brickseek shows all stores nearby at the same price. Nearby stores list "Unknown" for inventory, mine had several in the display case.

The 2022 3rd Gen $124 64GB model does not have Ethernet or Thread, it's Wi-Fi only. (This clearance 2021 64GB model has both Ethernet & Thread)
In order to get Ethernet & Thread on the 2022 3rd Gen, you have to purchase the $149 128GB model.
Also:
2021 2nd Gen includes USB-A to Lightning cable for charging the remote.
2022 3rd Gen does not include any charging cable.
