Extremely similar to the Black Friday doorbuster model, which was a monster Front Page deal at $148. Nothing fancy really, just an entry level 50" 4K Roku TV. I'm not supposed to say it's made by Element, but it's made by Element. Two year warranty if registered on-line.
Model: onn. 50” Class 4K UHD (2160P) LED Roku Smart TV HDR (100012585)

grabbed the 50" Samsung for $219 a few days ago. Much better set IMO.
Are you sure you're not going too far out on a limb there, Captain Obvious? Maybe there's a reason that deal only lasted 12 hours.
Well, let the "What Samsung deal for $219?" thread begin.
I bought the 50" Onn for $128 on BF 2 years ago. I've had to reboot it about 3 times over the 2 years because of issues with the sound not working. Other than that, I've had no issues and I have been happy with it. To me, the picture looks excellent for the price.

Deal was live for almost 2 days as I didn't think I needed it at first, but came back the next day and it was still available. 50" ONN Brand TV for any amount of money is not a good deal either way.
I've had my 50" Onn for a while, paid $138. Not sure who elected you to make final determination, that Onn not a deal at any price. I have a 65, 50, and 40" Onns and they all work/look great
I own 2 ONN TVs- one 50" for three years and one 70" for one year - and they're working fine for me. The wifi signal breaks if the TV is off too long and a restart fixes it.
That WiFi issue seems to be on most Roku TVs. Not sure if that's because of something specific to Roku, or just a common component used in low end Smart TV offerings, though
I bought a 50" 4k ONN brand 3 years ago for 150 and it's still going strong. No UHD or Roku, but it's been reliable. I would get this if I needed a new one.
Great price - got it about a year ago for roughly $220. My only complaint about the unit is when watching a DVD - the video resizing is not as good as an older Samsung TV I had that would let you cycle through about 8 different video configurations to get it looking exactlyhow you wanted.
With how low TV prices can get for 4k TV's you'd be foolish to buy an ONN. Maybe for the gym or your garage but lets be honest here… temper your expectations
Got a 50" QLED from the same manufacturer last year, only lasted about 9 months and the screen died suddenly. Been trying to get it replaced under warranty and they have been ignoring my requests.

I have the 50" ONN roku TV that was $148 for Black Friday, and so far it's been a decent (though very cheap) bedroom TV for us. Not sure if this is the same TV or not but here are some notes:
- The remote is IR instead of RF / Bluetooth meaning you have to point it directly at the TV for it to work, it's also incredibly lightweight.
- Audio quality is awful from the TV speakers but I hooked up a cheap roku-ready HDMI soundbar and ARC works great
- Picture quality is fine. Not great but not bad.
- Not many configurable options for picture / audio quality
- wi-fi is pretty slow, 2.4Ghz signal only. Fast enough for my needs.
- The Roku UI and every app I use are surprisingly responsive. I expected to have to use a fire stick or something but I've been happy with the built-in Roku software so far
Bought the 50" QLED version of this Onn Roku TV last July for $228. It has very good sound but the viewing angles are terrible. The picture is great if you directly in front or slightly to the side but otherwise the picture gets washed out pretty quick.

4k, but not UHD?
Yeah, 4k == UHD. Industry marketing loves confusing consumers.

We've had great success across multiple TCL TVs over there years.
