The minor annoyance aside - the thing that does greatly bother me is the coil whine. It ... is ... IRRITATING. Sometimes I can calm it down some by enabling/disabling the monitor's built-in lighting effects. For mine it gets louder when there is less image being lit up by the pixels. Screens that are predominantly black... higher coil whine sound. I pretty much have to wear my headphones to help me ignore it.

The text doesn't bother some people but it's objectively worse than ips or tn because of the sub pixel layout. Maybe it doesn't bother you but that doesn't change the fact that it's blurry.

1/24 - AW3423DWF placed in cart on Dell website
1/25 - Capital One Shopping 30% Email received. The email link and Extension Offer Button are used to complete the Purchase on the Dell website.
1/27 - Order shipment email received. Delivery was made on the same day and also Delivery Email was received.
1/28 - Emailed to help@CapitalOneShopping regarding the purchase not being tracked. Provided a screenshot of the 30% offer Extension used during checkout.
1/30- Support@CapitalOneShopping responded, stating that no investigative action will be taken until 30 days after purchase. No promise of resolution, only that they can start researching the issue after 30 days of purchase. Multiple emails were exchanged for clarification and details but just got back canned responses.
This is where I am right now. I suspect that might of been an issue on my end that caused a hiccup with the CaptialOne tracker. Maybe it is because I have Honey, uBlock Origin, or other miscellaneous extensions installed on my Chrome browser. I cannot confirm the cause since CapitalOne Shopping did not provide any details to me despite our email exchanges.
I plan to wait another 2 weeks to see the situation updates. If the purchase is still not showing up as being tracked as "pending", I would return the monitor back to dell.
The monitor itself is performing pretty great. I am coming from a Samsung G70A, 28-in 4K 144hz monitor. The text fringing issue did not bother me at all after messing with the ClearType settings on Windows 11 and changing the scaling to 125%. After tweaking the monitor to match a Reddit user's recommendation, it is clear that AW3423DWF is the best monitor I have ever used. Auto pixel refresh after 4 hours of use is slightly more annoying than I expected since the process took over 6 minutes. I did not notice any fan noise from the monitor, at least not any louder than my desktop fans (Lian Li SL V2 fans). All in all, I would like to keep the monitor if the 30% Capitalone Shopping offer comes through.
I'm in this exact same situation. Trying to decide if I should just return the monitor or risk keeping it and ask cap1 to investigate in two weeks, but my return period will be closed at that point.
I had this issue with another cash back site and they investigated and fixed it before the product I ordered even arrived. Cap1 forcing you to wait 30 days before bothering to investigate is a major downfall of their cash back system.
