Highly recommend this one over Dyson V8 (haven't used anything newer than that). Extra battery and the docking system are very useful on this one. We use it everyday and have no complains so far.
LG has a 10yr warranty (5 for Dyson) and you don't have to hold down trigger while using. These were two big things for me.

Ah and I forgot to mention how much I love the docking station.
Having owned both, LG is the way to go. Got mine on sale at Costco in November.

Thanks, I was considering the Dyson with the green laser light, but too, find having to hold down button a pain

The v12 detect slim does not have a trigger that you have to hold. Just an on/off button. I think it's the only model like that.

How does this compare to the complete version that was on sale at Home Depot a while back for the same price? It looked to have a soft roller attachment.

BTW Amazon seems to have the same model for the same price: https://www.amazon.com/LG-CordZer...B09QRW5685 . But not sure whether it comes with two batteries from its description.

My issue is that the soft roller attachment for hardwood floors is another $100+ with shipping.
