The sound quality is top notch!
But, there's no way to disable the BT radio and no way to protect it. When I was using it in an apartment, someone accidentally connected to it. I end up returning the unit for this reason.
these speakers are A1!!! I use them to game and have no complaints whatsoever! the wife gets mad sometimes when I play COD with the volume and bass all the way up lol!!! shakes my whole house!
Why is the bluetooth version significantly cheaper than the regular version? This is about the third time i've seen these exact speakers for so cheap, but the regular ones never drop to this price. Speakers seam to be the same size and so does the power output. What's the catch, especially if you can turn off the bluetooth mode.

These dont have the thx badge and are a lower quality version.

you could have taken the cover off and snipped the wire that leads to the bluetooth chip (little square PCB inside). Earlier model have it separate, later versions have it embedded within the main components. If you don't feel like clipping anything, lining the INSIDE of the box with aluminum cooking foil will block anyone from connecting... just don't cover any venting holes.

Oh, I'm sure there's a way to disable the BT radio. Called a soldering iron & soldering wick onto the BT chip. There, problem solved.
