I love the Aiyima T9 for a good all in one package DAC with amp that includes bluetooth

More amp power and streaming options - aiyima A07 or Fosi TB10D (both great amps, grab better priced which is Aiyima from Walmart currently), and pair with a WiiM Mini

I've got the similar NS-AW350 (slightly larger 6.5" woofers) with a Crown 300wpc amp. Good speakers, very clear and holding up to 4 Texas summers and counting.

I do wish they had more bass, but they meet expectations for this price point and driver size.

I bought these for my garage gym. Using an older A/V receiver I had laying around.

Good for the price but don't expect to be blown away by the sound quality. Have recently replaced them with 2nd hand Polk bookshelf speakers found for about the same price on FB market which get way louder with better sound quality.

I've had these for about 5 years in a part of the US that gets all 4 seasons. They are under the roof overhang on the back porch so no direct weather but still outside all year and working great. I'm using an old Sony receiver with a bluetooth adapter to power them. and they get very loud. The only time you do not want to use them is during winter/extreme cold which is true for all outdoor speakers

So I bought two sets of these. Installed one in my detached garage to replace some blown speakers. These definitely feel underpowered, previously could play at around 50% with my stereo receiver and the sound was very loud. This I have to crank up to 100%.

I am questioning whether I want to install the other one to run it on Zone Two of my theater receiver from the basement to my back patio. I can control the receiver remotely via app but I'm thinking it's just going to be a pain in the ass.

I bought a SoundCore Neo. That might be the most efficient for my need and I don't have to deal with running wires, running a second zone etc.

Decisions decisions.
You can only expect so much from a 5" woofer and 1/2" tweeter.

Just my .02 but there's a big jump going from 5" to 6.5". The 350's are on sale as well for $75 and include a 6.5"/1". That's really the bare minimum I'd recommend for any open space. 5" is ok for surrounds or soft background mood music.

Around me used/pulled/stolen(?) JBL controls come up fairly often. The 8" and above models can pump some sound out.

Yamaha NS-AW350W... https://a.co/d/eALzK66
As the above post mentioned, the larger 6.5 inch version is on sale for $75. I've had those for over 10 years on a covered deck and they have held up amazingly well. They sound great and get more than loud enough for my purposes.
the plastic case did start to yellow after about 4 years so I hit them with a can of matte White spray paint and they've looked new since.
I would buy them again in heartbeat.

Purchased a pair of these in 2014 for the backyard. They've survived 8 Chicagoland winters and are still going strong! In for another pair for another backyard zone!
What are you using to power the speakers? I'd like to add another zone also.

My exact scenario for these speakers. Just a good set of speakers for backyard music. $50 is well worth it in my opinion.

I'm looking to add 4 speakers in the yard in two different locations. What amp would be used? Where would it need to be located so as not to lose BT? How can volume be controlled on two sets of speakers? Example have two pool speakers louder than the two speakers on the deck?

Thanks in advance for the suggestions and help.

I have had the 150's for many years and they still work great. I am glad I read through the thread and found the 350's were also on sale. Nice upgrade for $25 more.

I heard rears and Atmos ceiling don't play much sounds and are less demanding than the front speakers. Only one way to find out!

There is a 4 speakers bundle at $161 with wires. That's $40/each!
