Slickdealers had mixed opinions the last time I posted this… but it made the Front-Page https://slickdeals.net/share/iphone_app/fp/793159.
I went to Home Depot and Lowe's in the Northeast and it's selling for substantially more.

Currently, $16.98 with free shipping to your door.

If you're buying multiple bags free shipping on each 32b's adds up with not having to go in-store.

Milorganite is only ever a good deal at around $5 a bag, and even then, it stinks. Event at this price, the approximately 1 pound of slow release organic nitrogen found in a 32 lb bag of Milorganite ends up costing about $15, or 10 times more than a pound of slow release N from coated urea.

Why anyone would consider buying this is beyond my comprehension, it's super expensive for what it provides, and even feeding the soil life aspect is very questionable - no evidence that creating a temporary artificial bloom of bacteria that feeds on toilet sludge is in any way beneficial to plants or the environment.

Good deal these days, all fertilizer prices have gone up. I ordered a few recently, they shipped one bag and cancelled the rest.

Used to love this stuff, but now with PFAS it's a solid pass.

Milorganite does work, despite what the propagandists say. It will turn your grass to ultra dark green. Looks quite amazing. Will feed your garden. It does not burn your grass or any vegetation. It has an initial smell. You are supposed to lay it down before a major rain storm arrives. Wipes out the smell. Suburbs and city folk neighbors might complain if you don't plan for this. I've used it for everything and it does work.

What is Milorganite made of?
"composed heat-dried microbes that have digested the organic matter in wastewater"

Like any other compost pile for an average gardener who uses chicken, rabbit, cow, horse manure. It's fulfilled an evolution to a biological benefit to the soil.

Stuff is amazing, but hate the way they have been increasing the price on this. Better off getting Menard's brand called E-corganite for $9.99 for similar sized bag and specs

You are 100% correct my friend, I remember when I was able to get this stuff for $5.00 or less from Wally World at the end of the season. Normally $9.00 - $11.00 give or take.

To top it off, Milorganite has been found to contain PFAS or "forever chemicals". Link to article [jsonline.com]

There are much better, let alone cheaper, ways to nourish your lawn
