I saw the deal for this on Amazon at $209, and then found that Newegg has the exact same drive for $175.99. Makes it $12.57/TB. Free shipping
Says it's sold and shipped by DealsADay. Not sure if that is a negative for anybody. I've ordered one, I guess we'll see how it goes. Need it for a parity drive in unRAID.

Might want to add to your title Refurbished. At least from what I saw that seller is selling refurbs.
That's interesting, nowhere did it say refurbished, I made sure "buy new" was checked. It definitely was being sold as new. Now when I go to the link, the price is back up to $200, showing from a different selling. I see that the particular seller I bought from is now selling refurb, but when I ordered it, it definitely said new.
Now I'm curious what I'm going to get. Maybe it was a price mistake or some other glitch, because I definitely made sure it was new. But it makes sense, as that price is definitely in the normal range of refurbs. Trying to decide if I should ask support about it and make sure it's new, or let it come and see what I get?

I don't think it is a deal if it is a refurb one.
I agree, but this didn't say refurb. Definitely said new. I'll have to see what they say.
I can even see that DealsADay definitely has new ones in stock, they just say $209.99 now.
Edit: Added a screenshot of my order in case there is doubt. $188.75 is after tax.
Chatted with newegg support, they verified the item is new. So maybe I just got lucky on a price mistake. I guess I'll find out for sure when I get it.

I got the drive in yesterday, looks factory sealed, brand new. I looked up the S/N on seagate's site, and talked to a rep. They verified it still has the factory warranty until 2026 on it. The seller verified it was new, not refurbished. I think it must have been a price mistake. Or old new stock, seeing as the warranty is already 2 years down on it.
