The 2 gb is back to $110 from $80, it says the deal ends in 42 minutes for the 1 gig. These have dram.

2TB version of this is available at Microcenter for $80 IF you are close to one, which seems to be a minority on this site Frown

, myself included. This is excellent for a secondary game drive.

Wow, prices are coming down. If only they were priced the same per TB for a 4TB or 8TB NVME. I would like to replace my spinning rust with SSD's at some point.

It looks like one of the downsides of this drive is that it gets very slow after the cache fills up.

I ordered the 1tb pcie4 Kingston yesterday for 1 dollar more, but shipping will take a week as it's backordered. Is this a comparably similar product? I need a second drive for my laptop alongside the 512gb os drive that came with it for VMs.

Shame I missed out on the window while the 2tb was $80 though.

I just installed this drive into one of my laptops. I bought it from a SD post a while back from New Egg. Not a barn burner but it runs cool and is plenty fast for daily non-gaming use. I wonder how soon the day when we say "Remember the days when we had a 1TB SSD and we thought we were hot stuff? It's coming. I'd buy another for 50 bucks if I could forsee a need for one. I can't see prices coming down that much, esp. since there's talk about moving all those dies out of China.
