Nice deal on what most people say is an excellent receiver (with 11.2 processing for those with external amps, and the receiver I'm currently planning to upgrade to.) The only potential downside I see is the seller is not an authorized seller (or at least isn't on the Onkyo website's list that I saw)so you MIGHT get warranty issues with Onkyo if something happens (and the seller requires you to pay return shipping if you return it within 30 days) but it's $400 less than directly from Onkyo...

at this price this will be hard, if not impossible to beat. Dirac is far better than anything else available.

as noted on the sales page this is sold by ElectronicsExpo which is a very reputable seller.

Good price, Electronics expo is a small store in NJ that used to be a chain and they almost went under many years ago. I am not sure how or what they are like now. The one thing someone brought up, if they are NOT an authorized dealer and if Onkyo will not honor the 3 year warranty then I would always buy from an authorized dealer. I am not sure if Onkyo has language in there warranty terms about authorized dealers, but if they do, I would go the authorized dealer route. Perhaps someone who knows 100% can chime in on the Onkyo warranty terms?

There may still be some on the $1325 deal that's posted on SD from authorized dealer. I think some people who bought one were also tax free(ymmv) which would make it a close deal to this.
