What is with the trend in sneaker looking boots? These are hideous. Every time I get an email from Timberland for a sale it's full of these ugly boots and never the premium 6" leather boot. The ads are a bunch of soft skin urbanites wearing boots unlaced and with the tongue flopping around. Wtf happened to timberland. Why do they keep producing this crap that inevitably populates the clearance section.

They're trying to capitalize off of the popularity of Danner Mountain 600s. Except none of them come close to looking as good, made from inferior junk materials and they expect folks to pony up the cash as if they were buying a pair of Danners. Except most people don't buy them and then these end up on sale from DSW.
