If you're looking for something that tracks like a kayak you're going to be really disappointed with this, BUT if you think of it as a skinny inflatable raft then it's definitely the best you can do for under $125 and proper kayaks are in the $350++ range.
Steering isn't great, the sides are pretty thick so it's not super easy to get a forceful and natural feeling paddle going, but it's extremely durable and comes with everything you need to get on the water except the life vest.
If you have long legs, you won't be suited for longer duration trips. I'm 6 feet and my knees get sore after an hour or so because you really have to squeeze your legs in there

What model did you end up buying?

Now, when we compare various inflatables, you get lower end like these and mid range like the Advanced Elements. These are very, very different price points. The AE are much more like a hard shell in handling and durability (more durable in some ways, less in others). The AE are also $500+ while the Intex are affordable for people on a budget.
The Intex do ride on top of the water and track poorly compared to the AE, but are fine for a fun day on the lake or going down mostly quiet rivers (class I). The Intex do get moved by heavy winds and can be tough in strong winds if you don't have decent arm strength to paddle.
I use the AE and my son uses an Intex. When he was younger he had a hard time paddling in strong winds.
For a person who will only use it occasionally, for a tubing replacement especially, it is a decent little kayak. If you want to ride rough waters or go out in the ocean, it is probably a bad idea.
For those of us who would rather float than paddle!
Intex used to have a pontoon sailboat that was insane. Two pontoons with a ~4x4 fiber platform between them and a little sail. Like a mini hobie cat.

It's cheap, but well designed for the price. It's not reinforced vinyl. If that means nothing to you, look it up. No leaving it in the sun ashore, especially inflated, even for 10 minutes. Not hard sharp stuff. Blah blah. Lightweight and very portable for the price.
I got one of these $45 off Amazon 4 years ago, and the one before that $40 at Walmart 6 years ago. These have thousands of hours on them! Even in fairly inclement weather if you're crazy and up for a balance challenge.
Strongly suggest seeking some better paddles at some point, maybe after a season with these to learn with. Ideally ones with ergo handles are a real plus, though most cost many times what this boat plus kit cost. These will do fine for quite a while, but they're wobbly on the pin connects and pretty inefficient. Exhausting exercise though!
Edit:
Works great for 1 person and much fishing gear.
OK for two people + a dog on calm waters, minding balancing similar people to a boat.
If you're fat, this will fatigue to accommodate. It's not elastic, so will always be the fat guy boat afterwards etc. Beware if loaning this out.
Remembering skeg on one of mine arrived a tad loose. Lined carefully with duck tape once, but that wore off after a year. After that I used a heat gun on the skeg to widen its grip, never had a problem after
This will NOT track straight / cut fast like my rigid kayak but has its advantages too. Single skeg in back means winds can easily spin you if not actively paddling
Use an electric pump at your car. That is what I did.
