    No. Your bar is too thin at .043, this chain is .050 gauge. You would need to get a new bar. Not very expensive for a bar and chain combo, maybe $25 for a 16 inch combo pack.

    I know everyone will crap on this, but the cheap ebay chains work pretty good for cheap. I cut a lot of wood and sharpen a lot of chains.

    They stretch out a little, but other than that work good.

    I have used Oregon S54 for almost a decade in my 16'' Poulon eletric chain saw. Works like a charm and continues to surprise how good they are.

    Can I buy S56 instead of S54? They are both for 16'' bars.

    These are good to have on hand when cutting stumps close to the ground, as it will wear your chain out fast. I use my electric chainsaw for this. For felling trees and cutting limbs, just sharpen your chain with a hand file before each use. It is so easy to do, takes just a couple of minutes. Don't buy sharpening gadgets - just the correct file for your chain.
