Should we expect the price to go even lower after AMD release lower end of RX 7000 series ? Probably YES.
But when ?
Really depends how much inventory will be left by the time they release them. AMD and Nvidia seem to delay releases of next gen cards until the inventory of the previous ones are exhausted to avoid significant price cuts.

Reviews indicate heat concerns with this card.
I have this card. It runs about 90 celsius when running AAA games at 1440p. From what I've read these cards don't have throttling issues until 110 celsius. I'm still not a fan of how hot it is getting and have thought about reapplying thermal paste to see if that helps.
I've read comparable nvidia cards run significantly cooler.
Edit. Forgot to add, outside of the heat issue I am happy with this card. Runs the games I've played well. Lately hogwarts legacy, and atomic heart.

I think you would benefit to spend some time working on fan curve for your card. I have the 6750 version of this, MSI Mech RX 6750 XT card and it's running no higher than the 70s C at the highest, in 1440p. You are correct the design center of this card is it safely operates up to 110 C without throttling. There's M/B sofware to set the fan curves on Windows. Mine is Linux and I use the CoreCtl utility.
By the way I am running a small form factor mini ITX build in a Hyte Revolt 3 case, and still the RX 6750 XT gets no higher than high 70s.
