If anyone does get used ones, make sure to reset the airtag by I think it was opening and closing the airtag 5 times in a row (basically cycle between power on and off 5 times in a row)

I used them on each of my bags and luggage. Even tagged one on my kids clothes. It gives a great peace of mind. I tagged one on my cat's collar now, not afraid of him got lost outside.

anyone know a way to get em to stop chirping. Put one on my cat as she tends to run outside and we are worried she will get lost. Apparently if not within range for over 8 hours which is common when I leave for work, etc. It starts chirping and freaks her out.

Make sure you test them out of the box even if you don't plan on using it right away. One out of four showed a low battery warning when it was new right out of the box. I had to negotiate with Amazon but they eventually gave me a $22.50 credit. I popped in a new CR2032 battery (about $2) and it works just fine. You can put the plastic piece back in to keep the battery from discharging if you don't need to use it right away.

You can turn off notifications for known addresses and radius.
